TERA Eu:- TERA Europe & TERA North America.
TERA Eu:- Is TERA Europe the same as TERA Rising? Yes, it is. When TERA was re-launched in February, 2013, it was given a new soubriquet.
Thus, TERA Europe and TERA in North America became “TERA Rising”. The main operational difference is that, quite straightforwardly, the game is now “Free to Play.”
There are, notwithstanding, some further alterations that have emerged with the new format.
A few of them will be discussed below.
For instance, there are the new “Dungeon Drop” procedures. All the various dungeons are affected with some omissions.
These are the omissions:- Fane of Kaprima, Argon Corpus Bastion of Lok, and Balder’s Temple
Any new gear and equipment may arrive as Masterwork, dropped and identified, in the dungeons.
However, this will occur with the exclusion of those omissions listed above.
In addition to this, the dungeons on the levels from 58 to level 60 have received allowances for extra drops to normal monsters from the Masterwork Alkahest.
However, the quantities of those drops that come from Bosses will remain unchanged.
Another modification that comes with the free to play version is the Lucky Boxes.
They, the boxes, emerge as drops from slain monsters; or, their contents may be purchased separately as items from the shop.
To open these boxes one would require special keys which are also available either at the item shops or at events and contests to be held periodically.
For those exploits involving enchantments there have been some adjustments there as well.
For example, a player will be able to see his/her “enchantment correction values” while exploring this particular function.
And, with “+12 enchanted T14 equipment”, there will be appropriate notifications, but only for these.
There will also be a “percentage corrective” used whenever a failure occurs whilst enchanting a particular item.
And this “corrective” is augmented and enhanced with each trial and error, thus improving the chances of superior accomplishments on subsequent attempts.
Another alteration of the old TERA comes from the advent of a 3 vs 3 Arena.
So, what are the essential functions of this modification within the virtual universe of Aborea?
Well, each gamer must first create a group of three (3) players.
Then, upon entering the Champions’ Skyring, the group will be matched with another
Every group is allowed only one character from the class of Healers; and, each member must have come from a different class.
The length of a battle is measured in the following way:- three (3) rounds, lasting a period of six (6) minutes each.
The winner is determined thusly: – a)Victory in two (2) out of three (3) rounds is required;
b) After the time limit, if no one prevails decisively, then the group having the greater number of deceased players loses.
c) A draw will be declared for a particular round if both sides have the same number of players alive after six (6) minutes.
d) But the entire battle will be drawn if neither of the two groups is able to win two full rounds.
However, there are times when an individual may be involved with a fight but dies before the entire battle if over.
At such times the interested character may wish to continue viewing the battle, just to see how things may have turned out without him or her.
In the past, this was rather difficult to accomplish because it was snot possible to revive a character before a battle, in which he/she had died, was completed.
It was necessary to wait until the very end to do this.
With the “spectator mode” that waiting is no longer an hindrance.
This mode has been included with “TERA Rising”; and, it allows a player to continue observing a fight after death.
(If only one could do that in real life.)
This mode allows one to observe an encounter from the point of view of another player.
The “Jump” key is used to activate and apply this spectator mode.
These are but a few of the current modifications that have been brought to the TERA online game as it changed its name to “TERA Rising”.
But for all these alterations, perhaps the most interesting adjustment is the one that’s likely to attract more new players.
That would be the conversion of the subscription to the “Free to Play” model.
